  • 2 tbsp cream cheese or hummus
  • ยฝ avocado (sliced)
  • 4โ€“5 cherry tomatoes (halved)
  • Handful baby spinach
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt & black pepper (to taste)
  • Optional: feta cheese or mozzarella

  1. Make herb butter
    Mix softened butter with garlic and mixed herbs until well combined.
  2. Toast sourdough
    Brush slices with olive oil and toast until golden and crisp.
  3. Layer base
    Spread cream cheese or hummus on the first slice.
  4. Add fresh layers
    Place spinach, avocado slices, and cherry tomatoes on top. Season lightly with salt and pepper.
  5. Stack it up
    Add second toast slice and repeat layering. Finish with third slice.
  6. Final touch
    Spread herb butter lightly on the top slice and sprinkle optional feta or mozzarella.
