Ingredients
- 3 cups day-old sourdough bread (cubed)
- 2–3 tbsp olive oil (or melted butter)
- 1/2 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp dried herbs (thyme or oregano)
- Optional: 2 tbsp grated parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cut the sourdough bread into bite-sized cubes.
- In a large bowl, toss the bread cubes with olive oil or melted butter.
- Add salt, garlic powder, and dried herbs. Mix well so everything is evenly coated.
- Spread the bread cubes in a single layer on a baking tray.
- Bake for 12–20 minutes, stirring halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from oven and let cool completely (they crisp up more as they cool).
- Sprinkle parmesan cheese on top if desired.
