  • 1–1.5 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ tsp oregano
  • ½ tsp chili flakes (optional)
  • 6–8 slices pepperoni or any toppings (mushrooms, olives, bell peppers)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or butter
  • Fresh basil (optional)

🍳 Step-by-Step Recipe

1. Prepare the Bread

  • Lightly brush sourdough slices with olive oil or butter
  • Place them on a baking tray

2. Toast Base (optional but better texture)

  • Pre-toast bread at 180°C (350°F) for 5–7 minutes
  • This keeps it crispy under toppings

3. Add Sauce

  • Spread a thin layer of pizza sauce evenly on each slice
  • Don’t overdo it (prevents soggy toast)

4. Add Cheese & Toppings

  • Sprinkle mozzarella generously
  • Add pepperoni or your favorite toppings
  • Finish with oregano + chili flakes

5. Bake

  • Bake at 200°C (390°F) for 8–10 minutes
  • Then broil/grill for 1–2 minutes until cheese bubbles and turns golden

6. Serve

  • Top with fresh basil
  • Slice and serve hot and crispy
