🧀 Ingredients
For the Mozzarella Sticks:
- 12 mozzarella string cheese sticks
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tbsp milk
- 1½ cups seasoned breadcrumbs (Italian style preferred)
- ½ cup panko breadcrumbs (extra crunch!)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp paprika
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp salt
For Frying:
- Oil for deep frying (canola, vegetable, or sunflower)
For Dipping:
- Marinara sauce
- Ranch dressing (optional)
🔥 Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Cheese
- Unwrap the mozzarella sticks.
- Cut them in half if you want bite-sized pieces.
- Freeze for 25–30 minutes.

Step 2: Set Up Breading Station
Use 3 shallow bowls:
Bowl 1: Flour
Bowl 2: Eggs + Milk (whisk together)
Bowl 3: Breadcrumbs + Panko + Garlic powder + Onion powder + Paprika + Salt + Pepper
Step 3: Bread the Mozzarella
Coat each frozen stick like this:
- Flour
- Egg wash
- Breadcrumb mix
- Back into egg wash
- Back into breadcrumb mix

Step 4: Freeze Again
Place coated sticks on a tray and freeze for 30 minutes.
This step makes them super crispy when fried.
Step 5: Fry ‘Em Up
- Heat oil to 350°F (175°C).

- Fry 1½ to 2 minutes until golden.
Don’t overcook—they melt fast!
Step 6: Serve Hot
